Events with Indigenous Grandmothers - November 2012

In July 2012 the Council of Grandmothers Scotland was created by Grandmother Susan Stanton of the Haudensosaunee tribe as part of the Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation.


Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation is an International NGO created to Promote, Support, Nurture and Administrate a grassroots initiative comprised of Indigenous Grandmothers of all Nations coming together to Create Circles, Gatherings, and Councils; bringing Sacred Ceremonies, Wisdom Teachings and a lifetime of Professional Expertise to Communities around the World. International Grandmothers working together are addressing universal topics such as Community Development, Sustainability, Renewable Resources, Elder Care, Unity Through Diversity, Developing Youth Leaders, Curbing Violence, Culture-based Conflict Resolution, and Honoring and Healing the Generational Wounds of Women, Children, Elders and Men ~ Unto the Seventh Generation and Beyond.

In November 2012 we are being visiting by two Grandmothers from the Foundation Gail Whitlow and Marsha Forrest both of Mohawk descent. Gail Whitlow is one of the Founding members of Grandmother Circle the Earth.

Grandmother Gail Whitlow is Mohawk and is of the Bear Clan. She owns the Ancestral Voices Healing and Retreat Centre in Ohsweken, Ontario on the Six Nations Reserve. Grandmother Gail is the 13th Grandmother on the Turtle Island Council, and her Centre is a gathering and teaching place for Traditional leaders and healers from many nations and tribes. Grandmother Gail is a strong presence in the Grandmothers movement worldwide, and has been instrumental in creating the Grandmothers Circle the Earth Foundation.

Grandmother Susan Ka'iulani Stanton, Haudenausonee (People of a Long House) from the Wolf Clan
was born and raised in Honolulu Hawaii. She lived for many years in the mountains on the island of Oahu, raising her children in a more traditional lifestyle and living close to the land. She also spent ten years in the desert on a reservation in Arizona, where she learned to work with the desert plants and animals. Grandmother Susan is a prison counselor, and the founder of Grandmothers Circle the Earth. She carries Crystal Medicine and is a member of the White Buffalo Cow Society of Mandan Grandmothers.

One to One Sessions
While the Grandmothers are with us there will be the opportunity to book a private session with them on the following dates:
Saturday 17th - 2pm onwards

Tuesday 20th - 4pm onwards 

Wednesday 21st - 4pm onwards 

Thursday 22nd - 9am-4:30pm 

Friday 23rd - 9am-4:30pm

Sessions will be held in Garnethill, Glasgow and possibly Ibrox.

We invite you to come together for the Blessings of Peace Water Ceremony at Luss, Loch Lomond with two Indigenous Grandmothers – Elders from Canada: Representing Grandmothers Circle The Earth Foundation -

This Ceremony will include blessings in the Celtic way and also in the native traditions of our two visiting Grandmothers Gail and Marsha.

A Night of Storytelling, Singing and Drumming With Our Guests - Indigenous Grandmothers

Dear Friends,

Autumn is now upon us and 2012 is slipping away before our eyes. This update is short this month with

just a couple of events to report. I have been requested to run another Munay Ki Foundation ceremony. It

will most likely be the last Foundation Rite Ceremony that I run this year. If you feel drawn to this transformational exeperience it

would be lovely to have you as part of this.

The ceremony coincides with the New Moon on 15th October, a perfect time for new beginnings/ planting

new seeds. The Munay Ki is a transformational and experiential journey, starting this as we head towards

My upcoming events will give you tools to help yourself, understand what is happening in your life and help to heal your family lines. Triple Helix 3 workshop - Know your energy systems to bring balance and harmony into your life

Saturday 29th September - 9.30 -5.30pm - £75

This workshop provides about the systems I work with in Triple Helix healing and how I use the chakra map as a tool in healing and consultation. The workshop provides information on the 4 energy bodies of the aura; how to find energy blocks in your aura and how to clear them. The chakra system is looked at detail in connection with the body, glands and emotions. Tools are given to use chakras as a map for problems in the body and emotions and vice versa and how to recognise imbalances in your system We explore the importance of the pineal gland, the effects of calcification and tools to help decalcify your pineal gland. We learn about the masculine and feminine properties within us and how to bring them into balance. Guidelines will also be given on how to live a balanced life. This is a workshop that is designed for you to use for better management of your energy system and how to create harmony in your life. These tools can be used in conjunction with the techniques taught in Triple Helix workshops 1, 2 & 4 and any other forms of healing.

Weaving Ancestral Threads - Tuesday 2nd October - 6 - 9pm - £20

In our modern Western world many if us have lost the connection to our ancestors. In the indigenous world the ancestors are honoured and revered and their teachings are used to the benefit of the community. The disconnection we experience can result in lost sense of identity, frustration and can lead to illness or dis-ease. It is our responsibility, in a time of greater human consciousness, to heal our ancestral lines for the benefit of the 7 generations behind and 7 generations forward.

This workshop will

 help you to connect with your most immediate ancestors and to bring balance and healing to your family lines. We will seek information through your grandparents. We will weave your family lines into balance, creating a spun cord with intention and prayer. This action can bring about healing where one family line has dominated over the others, or where one has been unrecognised for its part in our personal make up.
Do not be concerned if you have lost touch with your family lines. This does not prevent you from doing this work. The information that you need will come from Spirit.

NB- Shamanic Journeying experience is preferable prior to taking part in this workshop in order for you to gain the maximum benefit. If you would like to take part but do not have journeying experience then please contact me and I can arrange a session beforehand or alternatively attend one of my Introduction to Shamanic Journeying workshops

June 2012 - Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse/Venus Transit

Here is some important information relating to forthcoming planetary events which I have gathered from The Children of the Sun Foundation and other sources. These are not my words but I share them with you as I believe in their truth.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse/Venus Transit

The remarkable astronomical transits of May continue into the month of June with the historic Venus Transit traveling across the face of the Sun. This will be preceded by a Lunar Eclipse. The partially eclipsed Full Moon forms a mutable T-square involving the Sun, Venus and Mars, giving great opportunity to heal gender issues and relationships of every type.

Days immediately following the Lunar Eclipse, June 5-6, we will experience a rare and spectacular event known as the Venus Transit. This is essentially an eclipse, however, instead of the moon coming between the Earth and the Sun it is the planet Venus. As the basis of the Mayan "Long Count Calendar", the Venus Transit is regarded by many as the celestial signal that the "Great Transformation of the Closing of the Cycle" has begun. 

In order to get a perspective on the Venus transit, I think we need to get a better understanding of what the symbol of Venus represents. Once we know 'who she is' then we can go onto 'how she moves' and lastly but most important what is 'she doing now'. Venus is the brightest object in our sky, next to the Sun and the Moon. The other point of good correlation between the 'image of Venus' and the 'reality of Venus' is that she may be the Goddess of Love but she is never weak She nurtures life, is the key to Love, the golden mean, and going hyper-dimensional.  So now let's see how she is doing now.
Aphrodite, Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Sif,  Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli (lord of the house of Dawns), and the Maya: Kukulcan, all names of Venus, will cross in front of the sun on June 5/6th. This is what is called the transit of Venus.

There are two eclipses preceding the Venus Transit, a Solar Eclipse which just occurred on the 20th of May and a partial Lunar Eclipse two days before Venus passes between the Earth and Sun on 4th June. I would rate this sequence of events the most significant astrological event of 2012. As the blended radiations of the Sun and Venus make their way into the Earth's electromagnetic field, it weaves the energies of illuminating love and unity into mass consciousness. This is a profound catapulting force and opportunity for mass healing, transcendance of 3d sexual attitudes and the integration of gender polarities.

The rare phenomenon of Venus between the Sun and the Earth is not without consequence psychologically. The Transit of Venus always occurs in two sequences. The first to held on June 8, 2004 and the second will occur on June 6, 2012. Previous Venus transit took place on December 9, 1874 to close the loop on December 6, 1882, and the following will take place 11 December 2117 then of 8 December 2125. Each "transit of Venus" highlights transformative change featuring a relational issue of order asking to reflect on the consequences and conscious work on disorders.

Through the influence of the culminating cycle of the Venus Transit, together with these incoming stellar light frequencies, we are being greatly assisted, energetically and structurally, to reunite with our wholeness as an Androgynous Being in union with our Source of Life.

It is from this reintegrated wholeness that we are able to interpret information from the levels of Omnipresence Oneness in a manner that will raise us collectively into infinitely powerful and incredibly loving beings of tremendous wisdom. As we incorporate this new programming, we will operate more deeply and confidently from a balanced and magnificent mantle of Cosmic Love, Cosmic Wisdom and Cosmic Power.  

We simultaneously give great service to Mother Earth, our galaxy and the entire universe. Through our willingness to completely remove the holographic imprint of separation from our own personal vehicles, we help to transmute gender division and its distortions from the macro levels including war and conflict, hatred, victimhood, suppression, control and sexual abuse; to name a few. 

We are revealing a completely new way of relating in which each person operates as a sovereign entity, fully balanced and centered from within. This attitude of conscious living serves as a precursor to the emergence of sacred relationships with any and all others who are also operating from this high level attunement.    

Transcending "Personality Love"

Through these celestial alignments in May-June, 2012, we are greatly supported by the surging forces of incomprehensible Love from the Galactic Center. 
 
These omnipotent cohesive forces are spawning a transformative process of the desire nature, or conditional love from the personality nature, linking us up with the greater magnetism of the love aspect on the buddhic plane, the plane of unity. 


Transcending Sexual Desire and Control Patterns 

It is during this phase that many of us may now transcend physical sexual desire and any related dysfunction. This especially concerns the force which brings about the physical merging as a result of our responses to the body's animal nature. These are acts of sexual sensory pleasure, self-oriented sexual control, sexual abuse and imbalanced emotional patterns as a result of the sexual identity and appetite.  

This is not to say that celibacy is required for ascension. It is the addiction to sexual relating as a pleasure seeking desire or as a barrier to self love that is to be examined.  It is the qualifying intention that determines the vibration of the sexual intimacy. 

Both sexes strongly identify with the sexual centers, the genitals, which becomes the primary driving force behind existence. We are conditioned to believe in the need to express ourselves from our gender identification and sexuality for pleasure. This is another great illusion of our attachment to the senses. 

Many of us are still embarrassed or carry self worth issues around our bodies and especially in our nakedness to others. Our egos have caused us to judge ourselves and others based on the size and function of our sexual centers and the overall sexual desirability of our bodies. As a result, we criticize the perfection of God's Design. 

Here are some key questions that we may ask ourselves...

·  Are you the master of your sexuality...or is it the master of you?            

·  Does your sexuality serve a selfish purpose or a selfless purpose? 

·  Does the flow of your sexuality serve the lower self... or the Higher Self? In other words... does your sexuality serve love and intimacy or just materialistic animal pleasure?

·  Is your sexuality being used for the raising of your kundalini and brain illumination or just for a second chakra release? 

·  Do you feel embarrassed or ugly to be naked in front of others? 

·  Do you judge your body's genitals or your ability to engage in sexual intimacy?

·         Sexuality was created by God as an act of procreation and designed to be enjoyed as a communication device within the service of love. When used in service of the Higher Self, it becomes a most sacred consecration. 

·        
As we expand beyond our physical senses, we begin to experience the infinite bliss that is available to us through our connection to God. New meanings of intimacy will emerge as we embody more and more light and our sexuality transitions to the pure embrace of energetic union and rapture with all beings and realms of dimension.

Once we transcend the pull of the lower chakras and become the master of our three-fold personality (the physical, emotional, mental), these chakras fold up into our heart center and we become radiators of unconditional Love. Sexuality and pro-creation occurs through the divine impulse of pure thought and Divine Love as union with God Source.

·         Transmuting the Distorted Sexual Imprint

·         We are ready to transmute and transcend the misuse of sexuality as a power base in the old paradigm for both males and females.

Women, in particular, have been carrying the record of sexual trauma and abuse for a long time, sustaining the imbalance of gendered energies on the Earth.

·         The Law of Gender embodies the truth that gender is manifested in everything. The masculine and feminine is ever at work on all planes of causation. On the higher planes, gender expresses through higher forms of manifestation. This law works in the direction of generation, regeneration, and creation. All life forms contain the two elements of gender - masculine and feminine. 

·          

·         - On the great physical plane, the sexes of all species are manifested as male and female and they each play their role in sexual reproduction.

·         - On the great mental plane, gender manifests as masculine and feminine energies that exist within each and every person. Every male has its female element, and every female has its male element.

·         - On the great spiritual plane, gender manifests as the Father-Mother principle of the Infinite Omnipresent God in whose mind the universe is conceived and firmly held. It is written, "We all live, move, and have our being within God".  

·          

·         In the Earth ascension process, the human personality achieves the merger of God, and the self is seen as neither male or female, but as one blended whole.

I hope that all is well in your world and that you have enjoyed the marvellous weather we have had this weekend. I am just surfacing from a time of intense family/ancestral and personal healing as well as a period of extreme busy-ness. I feel as though finally I can come up for air - very appropriate as we have just entered into the air sign of Gemini..........
On Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:48pm  we entered the New Moon phase in Gemini.
Each New Moon is a time of new beginnings. It’s a time of planting seeds of what we want to accomplish during the coming month. With each New Moon we pass through an astrological sign whose characteristics influence us.When the moon is in Gemini people become restless and desire change. Gemini is an “air” sign, so let the winds of change carry you forward. There is a heightened need for communication, and a sense of intensified activity. This may show up in the form of nervousness, talkativeness, or increased physical activity. The additional stimulation may help you break through road blocks or create distractions.It’s a good time to take a walk, garden, or meditate to keep yourself grounded. This in turn will help you harness the flighty, air energy into something manageable. Perhaps the energy inspires a slight shift in your perceptions, opening paths you never believed were possible.It may be a difficult time to work a project through to the end. The progress you made during the last lunar cycle slows down during this month. Be patient with yourself. Allow time to “float” on a cloud of curiosity and dream.

Complementary Health Fayre

I shall be taking a stall at the Complementary Health Fayre in West Kilbride this coming weekend, 26th and 27th May which is being held at the Village Hall in West Kilbride from 10.30 - 5.30pm on Saturday and 12 - 5pm on Sunday. Entry is only £2 so if you fancy a day out by the sea while the weather is so wonderful pop in and see us. There will be lots of stalls and free talks on both days.

Workshops

Triple Helix Energy Healing Triple Helix has been restructured to make the workshops more accessible in terms of time and financial restraints. You can just do Triple Helix 1 as a standalone workshop or you can do them all over time as and when it suits you. Triple Helix 1 is the foundation for the other workshops as it teaches you the basics of the Triple Helix method. 

If you just wish to use Triple Helix for yourself then you can do Triple Helix 1 & 3 without the need to do workshops 2 & 4 which are designed for using the techniques on others.

Should you wish to advance to becoming a certified Triple Helix practitioner then it is necessary to complete all 4 workshops/8 evenings plus the associated case studies and practical session requirements. Please see below an overview of contents for each workshop:

Triple Helix 1 - Energy Tools of Transformation and Healing for you
Triple Helix 1 provides an introduction into energy healing and vibrational medicine. It includes using breath as a healing tool; how to perceive energy and use it as a healing tool; how your thoughts affect your emotions and how to transmute fearful thoughts and manage your emotions. It provides an introduction into the auric field and the chakras; how to use colour in relation to the chakra system as a healing tool; an introduction to sound as a healing tool and how to balance the chakras using sound. This workshop is designed for you to use the tools on yourself and is the foundation for the Triple Helix 2,3 &4 workshops. 

Originally designed as a one day workshop it is now being offered in 2 parts over 2 evenings: Part 1 -19th June and Part 2 -26th June - 6.00 -9.30pm

Triple Helix 2 - Energy tools of Transformationand Healing to use on others
This is a highly practical workshop. It provides the tools for using the Triple Helix healing method on your friends and family. The workshop teaches you the hand positions most beneficial for using this method of healing as well as giving guidelines on healing specific conditions. It shows you how to alter posture/realign bones using a light touch and breathing techniques. You will be given tools to enhance the effectiveness of the healing energy. Guidelines are given for emotional healing. You will learn how to balance and use healing energy and sound when working on other  people’s chakras and how to use Triple Helix as a distant healing tool. Triple Helix 2 is a prerequisite for workshop 4.

Triple Helix 4 - Enhanced Energy Healing Tools for you and others
Triple Helix 4 is the conclusion of the series of Triple Helix workshops. It is designed for those who wish to learn more powerful ways of working with the Triple Helix energy healing method and for those who wish to advance to becoming a certified Triple Helix practitioner. This workshop teaches new techniques to work with in order to enhance the effective of your healing work. It builds upon the tools given in Triple Helix 1, 2 & 3 including working in the auric field, physical and emotional issues and emotional blocks; clearing and balancing the chakras; working with the triple helix symbol and more. An overview will be given of what ‘health’ is and the ethics to be followed as a healing practitioner.

Originally designed as a one day workshop it is now being offered in 2 parts over 2 evenings: Part 1 -31st July and Part 2 -7th August - 6.00 - 9.30 pm 

All Triple Helix workshops are currently being offered at a reduced price of £35 per evening (i.e. £70 per workshop). A deposit of £20 is payable to secure your place. Booking in advance essential as spaces are limited to 6 people per workshop.

Shamanic Initiation Ceremonies

I am also running another series of the Munay Ki Nine Rites ceremonies which start at the beginning of June. It is preferred that the Rites are received in order and therefore it would be necessary to attend the Foundation Rites ceremony before receiving the remaining Rites.

The rites of the Munay-Ki are based on initiatory practices of the Inka and pre-Inka shamans of the Andes and the Amazon. The Inkas are the wisdom keepers who bring us not only the prophecies but also the processes. The processes relate to the transmissions of the energy that is going to help us align with who we are becoming, the new race that is not just the homo sapiens but the homo luminous These processes are known as Karpay, the great rites of passage. The Karpay connect the person to an ancient lineage of knowledge and power. This power can ultimately provide the fuel for an individual to leap into the body of an Inca, a luminous one, someone who is directly connected to the source that fuels stars. The Q’ero believe that a person who completes the cycle of ceremony of the Karpay is able to emerge into the fifth Sun, similar to the Hopi prophecies of emerging into the fifth world. They can become the Luminous One, also known as ‘Man (or Woman) who walks in Peace.’

Purple Primrose April/Easter Newsletter

Whether or not you celebrate Easter as a tradition, religious or otherwise, this is a time of new beginnings. In the Christian tradition Jesus arises from the dead and achieves ascension/resurrection and in pagan traditions this is a time of fertility represented by the egg, new life.  The Easter egg is often said to be a symbol of Eostre and this 'fact' is used as 'evidence' that Eostre was a fertility goddess. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, "Because the use of eggs was forbidden during Lent, they were brought to the table on Easter Day, coloured red to symbolize the Easter joy.

This theme, is reflected in the April Energy report from Lee Harris this month which refers to the end of the cycles of death that we may have been experiencing in our lives in recent months. The link to the report can be found at the end of this newsletter.

If this all isn't enough we have the Full Moon on 6th April a time of Completion, Resolution, Heightened Emotion and often, the fulfillment of seeds we planted at the New Moon. "Stuff" comes to light, under the light of the Full Moon - emotional material and events in life that trigger an emotional need or response. With every 'death' or 'completion' follows a new beginning.

The full moon can have a multitude of effects on us and for me I find I become more nocturnal leading up to the full moon and an inability to get to sleep so here I am coming up to midnight writing this for you.

You may have found, that there has been a prolonging of the need for hibernation. Since the New Moon on 22nd March we have been in a period of heightened energetic activity but also due to planetary aspects it has been a time to go within. I was lucky enough to spend this time in Malta following a spiritual calling, visiting and connecting with the sacred sites there and taking the opportunity to do some deep personal healing work. I as much as many of you am experiencing the challenges referred to in Lee's forecast, it is very easy to be thrown off balance in these times of energetic turmoil and it may seem like you are the only one feeling like you do. Rest assured that you are not alone. I want to take this opportunity to remind you that part of my service to humanity or part of my soul purpose is to provide support to others, be that as a friend, healing or as a sounding board. Please therefore feel free to contact me by phone or email if you are needing support with any life issues at this time.

I shall be offering more ceremonies, workshops and events once May arrives in line with the change in energies that we will have at that time. This will include using shamanic journeying to heal Ancestral/Family lines in the Weaving Ancestral Threads evening workshop on 15th May. More details to follow later in the month.
